- Play along the Yellowstone River. The river travels through the heart of Glendive and is a source for agate hunting, fishing and relaxing.
- Catch a paddlefish at the Yellowstone River intake. Anglers flock to the area annually for paddlefish season May 15 – June 30. You can purchase Yellowstone Caviar, made from the roe of paddlefish, from the Glendive Chamber of Commerce.
- Don’t neglect to visit the galleries and museums. The Gallery and Bridger Bronze Gallery, Frontier Gateway Museum, Glendive Dinosaur and Fossil Museum and the Makoshika Dinosaur Museum are all stops that should be added to your list.
